The story is a fantasy manga in which a young boy, Shochan, and his partner, Squirrel, travel through time and space, and explore all kinds of worlds.
It is said to be Japan's first serialized daily manga, and its adventure stories captured the hearts of boys and girls of the time.
The knit hat with the bonbon is a common sight nowadays,
It was called "Masachan hat" because Masachan often wore it in the work, and it became a big hit.
It became the first character product in Japan and had a great influence on later Japanese cartoonists.

Even now, 100 years later, this work still has an emo feel and a freshness to it.
This book reprints all four-frame manga serialized from 1923 to 1926. The old kana usage has been changed to the new, and the content can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
