This is the tearful daily life story of a backstage girl who desperately tries to fulfill her role in the shadows of sparkling girls....

One day, Kayo, a junior high school student who loves anime, meets a cute fairy and the Magical Girl Squad and is scouted to take on the fate of protecting the world.
I'm going to be a magical girl too...? Kayo's joy was short-lived, however, as she was chosen not as a magical girl, but as a "manager" to take care of her!

While the other Magical Girls are busy exterminating monsters in their gorgeous costumes, Kayo is running around in her school jersey supporting them today.
In order to be a great manager... and to go home and watch her favorite anime as soon as possible!
